Hey there, I'm Raymond, a 19-year-old student currently enrolled in the interactive spatial design course at Taylor's University in Malaysia. Today, I'm excited to kick off this blog, where I'll be sharing my experiences, challenges, and triumphs as I dive headfirst into the world of metaverse creation.
Why Interactive Spatial Design?
Ever since I can remember, I've been captivated by the idea of creating immersive digital spaces where people can connect, explore, and interact. It's this fascination that led me to pursue a course in interactive spatial design. The thought of shaping virtual worlds and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in digital environments ignites my passion.
What is Metaverse?
Before we dive into my journey, let's make sure we're on the same page about what a metaverse actually is. To me, a metaverse is like a vast, interconnected digital playground where the lines between the physical and virtual worlds blur. It's where people can gather, socialize, work, play, and create in ways we've never imagined before. It's an exciting realm that combines technology, creativity, and human interaction in unprecedented ways.
Studying interactive spatial design at Taylor's University has been an eye-opening experience. I've had the opportunity to explore a wide range of topics, from 3D modeling and virtual reality to user experience design and interactive storytelling. These courses have equipped me with the foundational skills needed to embark on my metaverse creation adventure.
